According to the results of the investigation, she is charged with having transported foreign nationals who had illegally crossed the Croatian state border for a pre-agreed sum of money.
The criminal investigation established that the 42-year-old woman, out of greed, transported foreign nationals who had illegally entered the Republic of Croatia for a pre-agreed sum of money, with the intention of transporting them to their final destination. For this reason, criminal proceedings have been initiated against her on suspicion of committing the criminal offence of unlawful entry, movement and stay in the Republic of Croatia, another member state of the European Union, or a signatory to the Schengen Agreement, under Article 326 of the Criminal Code (Kaznenik).
