The final projects of students from the local vocational school were included among the best in Croatia at the competition organised by INA. The company has long held competitions for the final projects of students in vocational schools, with the condition that the topic of the work relates to its business operations.
In the Computing category, first place and a prize of €600 were won by Petar Domović, a student in the fourth year, second form, of the computing technician course. His classmate Šimun Mađeri took third place in the same category, with a prize of €400, while Matej Furdi was awarded €150 for reaching the final stage.
All the awarded works were produced as part of the Advanced and Object-Oriented Programming subject, under the guidance of advisor teacher Tihomir Robotić.
"Our technicians showed that they are the pride of our school and a testament to the quality of the education provided, as their hard work has been recognised by one of the most significant companies in the Croatian economy," the school stated.
The local government of Đurđevac, which published the students' success in its city news, highlighted the result as confirmation of the quality of vocational education in the town.
