Alan Hrzich made his first solo appearance on Wednesday evening at the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall in Zagreb. The concert, titled 'God's Love, God's Power', was his first solo performance in that venue, with the musician preparing new arrangements of his songs for the occasion.

The performance was attended by several notable figures from the audience. Among them were singer Nina Badjic, sisters Ivana Husar-Mlinac and Marija Husar Rimac, and television presenter Tomislav Jelinec.

Hrzic is a Croatian singer and songwriter, best known for his spiritual music and performances at large prayer gatherings. He has moved from secular music to religious themes throughout his career, and is now one of the more recognisable names on Croatia's contemporary Christian music scene. Before turning to spiritual music, he worked in rock and pop music. Music has been an important part of his life since he was young, but over time he changed the direction of his career and began to turn more towards faith.

He spoke about his spiritual journey and personal transformation in numerous public testimonies. He stated that faith had changed his perspective on life, relationships, and music, and that was why he chose to direct his talent towards spiritual songs. In the early 2000s, he was well known on the domestic dance and pop scene. Among his songs from that period are 'Kako bi nam bilo dobro', 'Neka te odvede' and 'Uzmi svu svoju ljubav', the latter of which he performed at Dora, the Croatian selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, in 2003.

Following his turn to spiritual music, one of the key moments in his career was the concert at Zagreb's Stone Gate in 2014. An album, 'Kamenita vrsta live', was released from that performance, for which he won a Porin. In 2017, he released the studio album 'Nova stvorenja' (New Creatures), on which he collaborated with several musicians, including Marija Husar Rimac, Ante Gelo and Fra Marin Karacic. Over time, he began to hold large concerts of spiritual music throughout Croatia and abroad.

In addition to his musical career, Hrzic is known for his involvement in the Heart of Jesus prayer group, one of the larger Catholic prayer groups in Croatia. In interviews, he has spoken openly about his past, his personal struggles and the period in which, as he says, he fought with vices. He states that after his conversion, he completely changed his way of life.

Hrzic is married to his wife Ricarda, whom he met on a pilgrimage to Medjugorje. They were married in 2016 at the Heart of Jesus basilica in Zagreb, with the ceremony conducted by Father Ivan Ike Manduric, with the participation of two other priests. The couple have three sons, David, Leon and the youngest, Ricard, whose baptism was discussed by the singer in September this year. Hrzich often stresses the importance of family and strives to balance his performances with family commitments.

Hrzich is marking 15 years on the scene in 2026, and it was on this occasion that he appeared in Lisinski.
