In the heart of the city of Solin, specifically at the location of the Little Gloriette, the Ancient Market was held. This cultural event, associated with 2 August 2026, attracted the attention of visitors with its connection to the historical legacy and the artistic period known as the end of Romanticism in Salona.
The programme, rich in content, included a range of activities designed for different ages and interests. One of the key elements of the event was the Roman Games, which allowed visitors to interactively engage with ancient heritage. Alongside sports and historical elements, the programme included workshops and musical performances, creating a comprehensive cultural atmosphere.
The event was organised in conjunction with DD, the institution behind the realisation of this project. The aim of such events is often to promote local identity and preserve the memory of historical events linked to ancient Salona.
