The publishing house Planetopija has published the book I Still Love You in Croatian. This is the first literary work by the British actress Keira Knightley, who wrote the text and illustrated the book for the project. The work was created under the direct influence of Knightley's own experiences of motherhood.
The book is written from the perspective of a child and deals with the themes of the arrival of a new baby, the insecurities of the older child, and boundless parental love. The plot follows a little girl whose world is turned upside down by the birth of her sister. To cope with the changes, the girl embarks on an adventurous journey through enchanted forests and mysterious seas.
During the journey, the character follows her mother's messages, which are key to finding the way back home. The translation into Croatian was carried out by Nataša Ozmec, making the work available to a wider audience in the region.
Keira Knightley, born in 1985 in England, achieved worldwide fame with roles in the films Bend It Like Beckham and the Pirates of the Caribbean series. Her career has also been marked by roles in Pride and Prejudice, Atonement, and The Imitation Game.
