The Našice cinema hosted the puppet musical 'Penguin in Croatia' on Monday, 5 October. The performance was presented by Studio Sunflower, with the text, music and direction by Duško Mućalo.
The hall was filled with an audience, with visitors enjoying the afternoon event. Entry to the performance was free.
The performance was instructive and entertaining, with the journey of the main character through different parts of the country being a particularly valuable element. Through an imaginative story, song and dance, the children learned about Croatia, becoming familiar with the beauty, peculiarities and traditions of all regions of Croatia.
The president of the Council, Victoria Vladika, stated that such cultural encounters are of incalculable importance to the youngest. She highlighted that introducing children to the world of theatre and art at an early age promotes their emotional and creative development and broadens their horizons.
Vladika added that the youngest citizens build the foundations for a richer personal and social life through such content.
The event was organised by the Našici City Council Youth Council, the Našici 'Info' Youth Association and the OBZ Youth Council, with sponsorship provided by the City of Našici, the local tourist board and Radio Našici.
