The Dubrovnik Centre for Children, Youth and Family, in cooperation with the Naša djeca Dubrovnik Association, held a programme titled 'First Graders' Dance' at the Student Centre. The event was intended for the youngest primary school pupils and their families.
The programme was designed to encourage socialising, community spirit and active leisure time through dance and music. The organisers prepared a wealth of cheerful music, live rhythms and a good atmosphere for the children, with an emphasis on fun, mutual connection and creating beautiful memories of the first school days.
This event is a continuation of a series of activities with which the Dubrovnik Centre for Children, Youth and Family and its partners marked Children's Week in early October. It continues the ongoing work focused on children and families in the Dubrovnik area.
The Naša djeca Dubrovnik Association is one of the non-profit organisations with the longest tradition in this area. Through its continuous work, it promotes children's rights, creativity, children's artistic expression and quality leisure time.
The gathering of the youngest primary school pupils and their families at the Student Centre thus passed in a relaxed atmosphere filled with music and dance, with fun and mutual connection among the participants.
