Kliško summer 2026 gathered over 20,000 visitors, with the programme encompassing 26 events in total. The figures were published by the mayor of Općina Klis, Jakov Vetma, who is listed in the official Općina Kliss website as the current mayor.
The programme during the summer included concerts, theatre performances, exhibitions, book launches, children’s activities, and sports competitions. The events took place at several locations across the municipality, with concerts under the stars, premieres, and performances, as well as children’s events and workshops, and sports competitions held.
Vetma stated that Klis, as in previous years, was a place of music, tradition, and fun, with content tailored to different generations. The programme was conceived from the start as a blend of music, theatre, literature, and tradition, which was announced in June.
A special place in the programme was reserved for the traditional Feast of St Roj, the patron of Klis, whose feast day is celebrated in August. The Općina Kliss marked its Day of the Municipality with a solemn session of the Općinsko vijeće.
Vetma thanked everyone who participated in the organisation of the programme, with special thanks to local associations and organisations that contributed to the creation of the programme. These included KGD Mosor Klis Kosa, Hrvatsko društvo Trpimir Klis, the historical ensemble Kliss uskoci, MK Free Riders Kliss, the Uskok Kliss football club, Art Clissa, and the local hunting association. He also thanked all individuals who had helped in the organisation of the numerous events.
At the end of the publication, Vetma stated, 'See you next year!', indicating the continuation of the event next summer.
