Pula will host the visual arts festival 'Visualia' as part of its cultural offerings, with performances taking place from 17 to 19 September. The event, which is part of the city's wider programme, offers visitors a unique experience of engaging with contemporary art in their immediate surroundings, all arranged in collaboration with the local community, including children's nurseries, thereby creating a link between art and the local community.

The key element of this event is 23 art installations, distributed across 16 different locations throughout Pula. The unifying theme of all the installations is space, providing visitors with a unique opportunity to experience artistic works through a specific visual and conceptual lens. This structure allows for an exploration of space in a new way, blending artistic vision with the everyday urban environment.

All programmes are free of charge for visitors, making them accessible to a wider audience. The events are scheduled each evening, starting at 20:00 and lasting until 23:00, allowing visitors to take advantage of the evening hours to explore the artistic installations. This schedule allows for flexibility in planning visits, enabling visitors to make the most of the evening hours to explore the art.

Artists from various countries are participating in the event, including Germany, Hungary, Thailand, the Netherlands, the UK, and Norway. This international dimension adds layers to the event, allowing visitors to encounter different cultural perspectives through the artistic works. The participation of artists from different countries contributes to the richness of the cultural offerings, creating a unique blend of diverse cultural influences.

In the event of rainy weather, the organisers have put in place safety measures. In the event of rain, installations that are sensitive to moisture will be switched off, to ensure the safety of visitors and preserve the integrity of the artworks. This measure ensures that the programme can continue in poorer weather conditions, while respecting safety standards.
