Of the eight rounds of the NSŽI Cup matches already played, the most convincing performance was provided by third-division side Banjole, who triumphed 5-2 against Smočanin's Sloboda. Labin's Rudar showed that the league is higher than Fažan's Mladost, winning 3-1 at the Oliva Arena in Fažan. The match was officiated by Sandi Orbani from Žminj, with the assistance of Šeh and Ruž, both from Pula. The goalscorers were Rub in the 20th, Ibrahim in the 74th, and Oki in the 77th, with Oki scoring from a penalty in the 83rd minute. A yellow card was shown to Sim (Rudar), while Mile was sent off in the 88th and 90th minutes.
Poreč's Jadran advanced after a goal from a questionable penalty against the county league's Kanfan, winning 0-1 at the NK Kanfan Arena. The match was officiated by Kuki, with the assistance of Čavki and Fle, both from Pula. The only scorer was Radman in the 62nd minute, with yellow cards shown to Ere and Radman (Jadran).
