Locomotive won the semi-final of the Primorsko-goranska County Cup against Orijen with a score of 0:1 (0:1). The match was played at the stadium on Krimeja, and the result secured a place in the semi-finals of the county cup for the guests.

The only goal was scored by Monjac in the 36th minute. It is interesting that Monjac is one of seven former players of Orijen who currently wear the Lokomotive jersey, so the goal was scored against his former club.

Locomotive played with one player less from the 44th minute. Frano Ivančić received a second yellow card in that minute, which meant a red card and an early exit from the pitch. The match was officiated by Majstorović from Crikvenica.

The yellow cards were received by Prpić in the ranks of Orijen and by Weitzer, Ivančić, and Pichler in the ranks of Lokomotive. Despite playing with one player less from the 44th minute, Lokomotive managed to keep the minimal lead and secure the victory.

Locomotive is currently the leading team in the Third League – West, so the victory on Krimeja confirmed their status as favourites in this match. On the other hand, the Krimeja side missed the opportunity to defend the title of county cup winners.

In other matches, the Grobničani defeated the Rečica on the Draž. Randel scored the leading goal for the Reč, but Pilčić and Podobnik directed the overturn for the guests from the Maurs.

The Halban and the Opus will play their match on October 13, as will the island rivals of Krk and Omiš. The Crikvenica and the Vinodl will meet the day after.
