Five members of the Croatian Association of Veterans (HVIDR) have secured the right to compete in the national competition. This is a confirmation of their readiness, and the qualification represents a significant step in the development of the sports community in Croatia.
The competition, known by the acronym ŠNIDOR, will take place from 9 to 11 October 2026. This event brings together participants from across Croatia, with this year's host being the town of Mali Lošinj. The location was chosen for its historical and cultural value, and is considered an ideal venue for organising such sports events.
Special attention is paid to disciplines such as hanging bowls and chess. These disciplines require a high level of skill and strategic thinking, presenting participants with a challenge at a high level of competition.
All competitors, including those from Đurđevac, are part of a broader sports movement in Croatia. Their presence at the national level contributes to the promotion of sports values in society, encouraging other participants to further develop and advance in their sporting activities.
