The traditional fish catch, known as Arbun, took place on 3 October 2026 in Mali Lošić. This is the 43rd edition of the event, organised by the SRD 'Udica' association. The competition attracted participants from various associations, with participation possible only via prior registration by email, the deadline for which was 25 September 2026.

Prior to the competition, on 2 October, a verification of participants took place. Participants were required to present their membership card and fishing licence, and sign a liability statement. The organisers reserved the right to limit the number of teams according to the technical capabilities of the location. The fee for members of SRD 'Udica' was 20.00 euros, while for members of other associations it was 35.00 euros. The included price covered the dinner at the closing ceremony, while other costs, such as transport, were at the expense of the participants.

Participation was permitted only upon meeting the age requirements, with a minimum age of 14. If one of the participants in the team was under 18, the other member had to be of adult age. The team consisted of exactly two participants, and the use of one's own vessel, including rubber dinghies and fast planing boats, was permitted provided that the maximum speed of 8 knots was strictly observed.

The competition lasted seven hours, and in the event of an interruption, it remained valid if it lasted at least five hours. Participants had to submit their catch personally on the home vessel by 15:00. Each arbun was worth 10 points, with additional points for the weight of the fish. Invalid catches, such as smaller fish, were to be submitted in special bags. The ranking was determined based on the sum of points, with teams catching fewer fish having an advantage in the case of tied scores.
