Fenerbahce have rejected the initial offer from Dinamo for Dominik Livakovic, Turkish media outlet Sporx reported. The Zagreb-based club offered a fee of three million euros with a further million in bonuses, but the Istanbul-based club is seeking a higher sum.
Turkish media have previously reported that Fenerbahce are seeking around five million euros for the goalkeeper.
Livakovic spent the second half of last season on loan at Maksimir and wishes to remain at Dinamo. "His wish is clear, he wants to stay at Dinamo. However, if a million-euro offer comes to Fener, and there are already many inquiries, then it is up to the Turkish club," his manager Andy Bara said previously, adding that the goalkeeper does not wish to continue his career in Turkey.
As Livakovic has a contract with Fenerbahce until the summer of 2028, Dinamo must negotiate his retention with the Turkish club. According to Sporx, in addition to Dinamo, Crystal Palace, which enquired about the transfer terms in the spring, and Torino are monitoring the situation, so Fenerbahce are currently not accepting the Zagreb club's offer. Following talks, Livakovic's manager may submit a new, higher bid to the club.
Dinamo sold Livakovic to Fenerbahce for around seven million euros in August 2023. In the first two seasons in Istanbul, he made 74 appearances, but after an injury, he lost his place in the starting line-up: Jose Mourinho gave the preference to Irfan Can Egribayat, and with the arrival of Ederson, the opportunities for play were further reduced.
In September 2025, he went on loan to Girona, where, alongside Paul Gazzaniga, he did not make a single appearance, so the loan was terminated in January 2026 and the goalkeeper returned to Dinamo. By the end of the season, he had regularly played and retained his status as the first-choice goalkeeper for the Croatian national team.
