The traditional tenth half marathon took place in Našice, with four participants successfully completing the race. The participants were local recreational runners from the Našice area who chose to take part in this sporting event as a tribute to significant historical dates.
The race was held in commemoration of Victory Day and the Day of the Defenders. At the same time, the 31st anniversary of the 'Storm' (Oluja) military operation was marked, giving the sporting event a special significance.
Among the participants were Croatian veterans from the liberation operations, adding an extra dimension of respect for those who had participated in the defence of the country to the race. Their participation highlighted the connection between sport and patriotism.
The start of the race was in front of the Pejačević Palace in Našice, the town centre. The route was carefully designed to link several local settlements, offering participants the opportunity to experience the local area.
The runners' path went through Našički Markovac, where participants passed through this settlement. They then continued towards Jelisavce, continuing the circuit through the wider Našice area.
After Jelis, the route went through Velimirovce. This arrangement of settlements allowed runners to pass through different parts of the region before returning to the finish line.
