NK Nedelišće captain Fran Vibovec recorded his 300th official appearance for the club last Saturday. This milestone capped an 11-year period since his senior debut as a 17-year-old in the 2014/2015 season.
From that first senior outing to the jubilee 300th match, 11 years have passed, during which Vibovec became one of the key players for Nedelišće and its captain. Consistency in wearing the same shirt is rare in lower-league football, where players frequently move between clubs.
During his senior career, Vibovec has won three league titles in different divisions, confirming that he was part of the teams that achieved the club's greatest successes in that period. He also celebrated two County Cup titles, having played in the final of that competition three times in total.
At the county level, he also achieved notable results with the club in the Croatian Cup, where Nedelišće reached the round of 16. Vibovec made five appearances in that competition, which gave him experience playing against stronger opponents.
He also spent two seasons in the Third NL North, the third tier of Croatian football, where he defended the colours of Nedelišće. The jubilee 300th appearance is thus the crown of a career that he has tied almost entirely to his home club.
