Grobnican players defeated Koprivnica 5-1 in the fifth round of the SuperSport Second League. The match was played at the 'Adelija Beba Hrami' stadium in front of 100 spectators, with Teo Zeb from Osijek officiating.
The home side had already decided the outcome of the match in the first half. In the 9th minute, Pucic took a corner, and Budanovic scored with his head for 1-0. Six minutes later, Smyslov played a double pass with Kovacevic and increased the lead to 2-0. In the 24th minute, Ratshukudu posed a threat, but the goalkeeper Legac saved his shot. However, in the 29th minute, Zivkovic sent a deep ball to Budanovic, who scored with a lob, making the score 3-0, which was the halftime result.
In the second half, Grobnican continued to press. Budanovic missed a chance in the 78th minute, and in the 81st minute, Grobnican was awarded a penalty after Alasana pulled back from the center and passed to Mady, who was tripped in the penalty area. Pilc took the penalty, but the visiting goalkeeper saved his shot.
Koprivnica scored in the 90th minute with a cross from captain Mikor, and the scorer was Matić for 4-1. In the added time, a long ball from Matko hit the head of the visiting captain and bounced into the empty net, which Mikor recorded as an own goal for the final 5-1. Ivanda from Koprivnica received a yellow card.
