Radnik opened the new season with a victory for its U9 team at a tournament in Valpovo. The players, born in 2017 and 2018, secured first place without a defeat, confirming a strong start to the competitive year for the club from Križevci.
The players won three matches: 35-30 against Vučice (Cibona), 37-35 against Novi Zagreb, and 52-51 against the local team of Valpovo. The last two matches were decided only after a second overtime, with Radkin playing a total of four overtimes across the three matches. In the overall standings, Radkin finished in first place, ahead of Valpovo, Novi Zagreb, and Vučine.
Radkin's U17 team, led by coach Matej Boščić, opened the season with a home victory against Mladost 63-40. The team started the competition convincingly, with the most effective player in the squad being Niko Berend with 14 points.
Noa Katanović scored 13 points, Jakov Kozjak 12, and Luka Hrand added eight points. Lojko Kašić scored five points, while Tin Šikić scored three.
Two points were scored by Radkin for Vito Ivanček, Noa Marjanović, Andreas Pavlović, and Tadej Brunović. The club thus marked a successful entry into the new season.
