Wales manager Craig Bellamy has announced the squad for the upcoming Nations League fixtures against Norway and Portugal. Harry Wilson and Joe Rodon return to the team, while 20-year-old goalkeeper Joe Duncan receives his first call-up.

Wilson, the Leeds United attacking midfielder, has not played for Wales since March due to injury. His clubmate Rodon, a centre-back, also returns despite not having played since a hamstring injury in August. Cardiff City playmaker Rubin Colwill has also been recalled to the squad.

Duncan is on loan at National League side Southend United from Championship club Bristol City. Born in Bristol, he qualifies for Wales through his maternal grandfather from Cardiff. He has previously represented Wales at U-21 level and replaces Tom King, Everton’s reserve goalkeeper, in the senior squad. Alongside Duncan, the squad includes Manchester United’s Karl Darlow and Wrexham’s Danny Ward in goal.

The defence features Connor Roberts, Ben Davies, Chris Mepham, Joe Rodon, Ben Cabango, Neco Williams, Jay Dasilva and Jayden Lienou. The midfield consists of Ethan Ampadu, Josh Sheehan, Kai Andrews, Rubin Colwill, Joel Colwill, Harry Wilson, Liam Cullen and David Brooks. The forwards are Brennan Johnson, Sorba Thomas, Lewis Koumas, Kieffer Moore, Mark Harris, Dan James and Cian Ashford. Jordan James is absent due to an injury sustained in Wolves’ match against Cardiff last Saturday.

Wales travel to Norway on Saturday, 14 November, to play at Ullevaal stadium in Oslo, with kick-off at 17:00 GMT. They conclude their campaign at home against Portugal next Tuesday, 17 November, at Cardiff City Stadium, with kick-off at 19:45 GMT. Wales are third in Group A4, with their only win in four matches coming against Norway in Cardiff last month. Norway are World Cup quarter-finalists.

Craig Bellamy’s team can still finish second, third or fourth. A place in the top two positions in the group will take Wales to the Nations League quarter-finals in March 2027. Third place means a relegation play-off against a League B team in March, while finishing last in the group results in either a relegation play-off or direct elimination, depending on the standings with other League A groups.
