Filip Dragoslavić, co-founder and former co-CEO of Solflare, is leaving the company after five years of service. According to the announcement, Dragoslavić is dedicating himself to a new entrepreneurial venture, while remaining with the company as a shareholder.
Solflare is one of the better-known companies within the Solana ecosystem, operating as a Solana wallet and digital asset management platform. The company currently has more than four million active users worldwide, who manage over 15 billion US dollars in assets through it. Solflare has navigated multiple market cycles and demanding periods in the industry, positioning itself among the most recognisable applications in the blockchain world.
Dragoslavić developed Solflare with Vidor Gencel from a small team into a company with more than 150 employees in Croatia and Serbia. The handover has already taken place, and Gencel remains as the sole CEO of Solflare. Gencel continues to lead the company with the existing management team, which includes Damjan Marković as COO, and together they continue to develop the organisation.
Key functions including product, engineering, business and marketing are led by people who have been involved in building the company in recent years. Solflare is maintaining its existing strategic direction and plans to develop an application in the coming period where users can trade assets. This makes cryptocurrencies, tokenised assets and opportunities for stablecoins to earn yield available in one place, with assets remaining under user control at all times.
The company cites user privacy and card payments as its next priorities.
