Turkish company Kuzey Star has purchased Uljanik for €12.05 million, Glas Istre reports. The new owner announces the continuation of production in the year the shipyard marks its 170th anniversary of existence.

The purchase price of €12.05 million is the central financial figure of the deal. Kuzey Star thereby takes over the assets and operations of the shipyard.

Along with taking ownership, the company has also announced the continuation of production. The announcement relates to the 170th year of the shipyard's existence, indicating that operations will not stop but will continue under the new owner.

Continuing production in the 170th year of operation signals the new owner's intention to maintain production activities. This paves the way for further work at the plant with a long tradition of shipbuilding.

So far, only the purchase price of €12.05 million and the announcement of continued production in the year Uljanik marks its 170th anniversary are known.
