A new online service, Popustomanian, has launched on the Croatian market, bringing together discounted products from domestic and international online stores available to Croatian consumers. The service is primarily designed as a catalogue of current discounts, displaying products whose prices are currently reduced.

Popustomanjan checks the prices of more than 2.5 million products daily from more than 300 online stores. More than a million products are currently marked as discounted. The offer covers categories such as electronics, fashion, cosmetics, perfumes, children’s products, and home equipment.

Among the stores whose offers the service tracks are About You, Zalando, Answear, Reserved, Sinsay, IKEA, JYSK, Dm, Intersport, Sport Vision, and Svjet medija. Products can be filtered by category, brand, store, price, and discount level.

The service also displays price history. Popustomanjan states that it monitors prices daily, and for certain products, it displays a chart of their movement. Users can save products to a wishlist and receive email notifications when the price drops. A specific search can also be saved, with a notification sent when a product matching the set criteria appears. A view of products discounted in the last 24 hours is also available.

Popustomanjan is not an online store, so the purchase itself is not made on its pages. By clicking on a product, the user is redirected to the retailer’s online store, where the purchase continues according to its terms. Using the service is free for customers.

The service is currently in a limited availability phase, and registration is only possible with an invitation. Popustomanjan plans to abolish the invitation system and allow open registration, approximately in the next two to four weeks, although the final date has not yet been determined. Readers of the Bug.hr portal can register for free via a link with 100 available spots.
