Expired food, half-used products, clothes that are no longer worn, small household items and devices end up in the bin or in a drawer every day, warns Slobodna Dalmacija.

People buy things that they then throw away or leave unused, and this pattern repeats itself day after day. The problem, it is pointed out, begins in the shop.

The consequences are evident in several categories. Expired food and half-used products are thrown away, while clothes that are no longer worn and small household items are often left forgotten. The same applies to devices that are no longer used.

Such behaviour is not an isolated case, but part of everyday life. Things are bought, then discarded or put aside, creating a surplus that takes up space and generates waste.

Slobodna Dalmacija says that this is a problem that needs to be considered from the very beginning, from the moment of purchase in the shop.
