The trading chain Studenac has submitted a proposal for the initiation of a pre-bankruptcy agreement, confirmed by the company. As stated, the proposal was submitted due to financial issues in meeting obligations and the inability to agree on an extension of credit arrangements.
The company expects the Commercial Court to make a formal decision on the initiation of the procedure within the statutory time limits. The submission is described as a responsible and transparent step aimed at ensuring financial stability, the continuation of operations, and long-term sustainability.
The company hopes and expects that through this procedure, an agreement will be reached with partners, suppliers, and creditors, and that a feasible restructuring plan will be agreed upon. Studenac is already working on a restructuring plan, and it states that it continues to operate.
Employees of Studenac continue to work and carry out their duties, while the shops remain open. Products from suppliers are available to consumers and local residents, the company states.
