The town of Crikvenica issued an official permit for the use of public land, specifically the maritime domain, in the settlement of Jadranova. This location was chosen for the event, on the condition that the organiser met all prescribed requirements and paid the appropriate fee for the use of public property. It is important to note that the town of Crikvenica provided no financial or other patronage support for this event, thereby clearly distinguishing the role of the local authority from the private organisation of the event.
The preparations for the event were characterised by strict safety measures. A coordination meeting was held prior to the event, attended by representatives of the town, as well as representatives of the Crikvenica Police Station and the Krk Police Station. During the preparations, it was emphasised that the assessment of safety risks remained the responsibility of the organiser, who was obliged to ensure the conditions for the safe conduct of the entire event.
During the event, vehicle relocation services were present, and the municipal police were also present to oversee the proceedings. Despite this, 97 traffic offences were recorded during the event, primarily on Trg Stjepana Radića. The majority of the offences related to the illegal parking of vehicles, and the practice of revving engines, which was contrary to noise protection regulations, was particularly noted.
Special attention was paid to the condition of the car park near the Zoričići cemetery, where tyre marks were found, indicating inappropriate activity by drivers. Although the area has since been restored, the incident was highlighted as an example of the need for stricter oversight. On the other hand, the event organiser fulfilled most of the conditions stipulated in the permit, including the obligation to clean the Trg Stjepana Radića and other public areas in Jadran at their own expense. At the scene, workers had to intervene three times during the day to move vehicles that had been parked illegally, further illustrating the challenges in maintaining order during such gatherings.
