A meeting of the expanded HDZ (Croatian Democratic Union) Bjelovar-Bilogora County Board was held in Daruvar. The meeting took place as part of the celebration of the 36th anniversary of the party in that town.
The meeting was attended by the chairman of the HDZ County Board and the Bjelovar-Bilogova County Prefect, Marko Marušić. He welcomed the assembled members and thanked the mayor of Daruvar, Damir Lneniček, for the hospitality and the organisation of the meeting.
Marušić stated that the meetings of the County Board would henceforth be held in other parts of Bjelovar-Bilogova County. According to the announcement, the next meeting is to be held in Garešnica. The aim of holding meetings in different locations is to connect urban and municipal organisations, as well as to exchange experience and cooperate at the local level.
The meeting discussed the current political situation, as well as intra-party activities in the cities and municipalities of the Bjelovar-Bilogova County. Decisions were also made on the co-optation.
The holding of the meeting in Daruva was linked to the celebration of the 36th anniversary of the founding of the HDZ, to which congratulations were extended to the members of the Daruvar branch.
The HDZ county board stated that in its future work, it would focus on the cooperation of urban and municipal organisations, as well as activities across the entire Bjelovar-Bilogova County.
