Bjelovar-Bilogora County Mayor Marko Marušić inspected the extension works at the Vladimir Nazor Primary School – Frankopanska Branch School in Daruvar on Monday, 19 October. He was accompanied by Daruvar Mayor Damir Lneniček.

The project is worth €1.2 million and involves the renovation and extension of the school building. Upon completion, the works will create the conditions for teaching to be conducted in a single shift.

Marušić emphasised that investment in education is one of the priorities of the Bjelovar-Bilogora County. He stated that they are investing more than €7 million in schooling and that they are renovating and extending the branch school in Daruvar with €1.2 million, after which all children will attend single-shift classes. He also conveyed that they are ensuring top-tier conditions for all students.

In Daruvar, construction of the Student Dormitory is also nearing completion, a project worth €6 million. This represents another significant investment in educational infrastructure in the county area.

These investments are part of a broader cycle of investment in educational infrastructure in the county. The aim is to ensure better conditions for students and teachers and to create the conditions for organising teaching in a single shift.
