A project titled "A New Plan Every Day" was presented at the Glina Home for the Elderly, with the primary aim of significantly increasing the social inclusion of older people in society. The project is jointly implemented by the Glina Home for the Elderly and the local Red Cross.

The total value of the programme is nearly €300,000, and it is fully financed by non-repayable funds from the European Social Fund Plus. The implementation of activities will continue until the end of 2028.

The programme is intended for people over the age of 65 living in the Glina area. Special focus is placed on those living in single-person households who are often at risk of social isolation. The project also directly includes people with low incomes, those with compromised health, and those with reduced mobility.

Users will have access to psychosocial support and day-centre services. In addition, transport has been arranged to facilitate older people in carrying out their daily life activities.

Regular educational, creative and horticultural workshops will be organised for users, according to project information. This aims to encourage socialising and active participation of older people in the community, alongside direct support.
