In Rogoznica and Zečevo, the 35th anniversary of the capture of the three barracks of the Yugoslav People's Army (JNA) — Zečevo, Krš, and Smokva — was solemnly marked. The same occasion also marked the 35th anniversary of the historic feat of destroying two aircraft, with the cry: 'Both, both! Both fell!'
This cry was described as a lasting symbol of victory over the Yugoslav People's Army and the aggressor. The anniversary was marked by laying wreaths, lighting candles, and praying for the fallen defenders at the cross on the local cemetery and at the memorial to the fallen defenders in Rogoznica.
The event 'Both Fell, All Three Fell' continued in Zečevo. The celebration was held as part of the commemoration of the Anniversary of the Homeland War and the Day of Veterans of the Šibenik-Knin County. The organizers of the anniversary of the capture of the Rogoznica barracks and the destruction of the aircraft by the aggressor were the Association of Veterans and Volunteers of the Republic of Croatia from the municipality of Rogoznica.
Those present at the commemoration included General Željko Sačić, the Ban of the Šibenik-Knin County, and the mayor of the municipality of Rogoznica, Ana Živković. Alongside them were representatives of the Croatian Army, the Croatian Navy, and the Croatian Police, as well as delegations of veterans' associations from the Homeland War, veterans, and participants in the Rogoznica operation who had taken part in the capture of the barracks in 1991, as well as the families of the fallen Rogoznica defenders.
The program of the anniversary of the 1991 takeover included students and a folk group from the Rogoznica Primary School. At the Rogoznica Primary School, an exhibition of photographs from the Homeland War and the Battle of Šibenik was held, and a special history lesson on the struggle for freedom and independence of Croatia was held, with a special focus on the participation of the residents of Rogoznica in the creation and defence of Croatia.
