The State Prosecutor's Office (DORH) announced on Saturday that it had ordered an autopsy of the deceased person, in order to establish their identity. A DNA analysis was also ordered, which is a key step in clarifying the circumstances under which the person was found. The measures were carried out in the vicinity of the location where the body was found, in the area of Stanić near Omiš, an area covered by the recent large fire.
Meanwhile, an extensive inspection was carried out at the scene of the fire in Lokva near Rogoznica. The inspection was attended by the deputy public prosecutor, along with representatives of the Split-Dalmatia County Police. An inspector for fire protection and explosion safety was also present, ensuring expert oversight over all aspects of the field investigation.
In connection with the disappearance, the Split Police announced that they are intensively searching for Dragan Antešević, a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina. His disappearance was reported on Thursday evening, and the police are continuing their search operations. At the same time, the State Prosecutor's Office has ordered detailed mapping of the entire burned area, including photographing damaged buildings and vehicles, to create precise documentation for the needs of the investigation.
These measures are part of a broader set of actions taken by the relevant authorities to establish all the circumstances of the incident. In addition to the steps mentioned, the State Prosecutor's Office has secured footage from surveillance cameras found in the area affected by the fire. All actions are being carried out in strict accordance with legal regulations and in cooperation with all relevant services, to ensure the highest level of security and justice for all involved in this tragic event.
