In Bol on the island of Brač, from 25 to 27 September, the 7th Vallum Fest was held, a competition for fire brigades in which 32 teams from Croatia and Slovenia participated. This is the highest number of registered teams in the history of the competition.

Of the 32 teams, 24 were male and 8 female, and approximately 250 firefighters participated in the competition. The competition took place in several locations in Bol, where teams demonstrated their knowledge, skill, speed and teamwork through various disciplines and challenging tasks.

In the male category, the victory went to the team of the Pula Fire Department, which successfully defended last year's title. The second place was taken by the Dalmacija-Dugi Rat Fire Department, while the third place went to the Supetar 1 Fire Department.

In the female category, the best were the members of the Pučišća Fire Department. The second place was taken by the Supetar 2 Fire Department, and the third by the Marčana Fire Department. The results were provided by the Croatian Firefighters Association.

A large number of members of the Bol Fire Department participated in the organisation and conduct of the competition, being responsible for the reception and accommodation of visiting teams, catering, and the judging and evaluation of the competition. Thus, the host in Bol once again confirmed its key role in hosting this international fire event.
