The start of the new week brings a significant change in weather conditions, breaking the sunny and hot period of the past weekend. According to the forecast from the Croatian Meteorological and Hydrological Service (DHMZ), cloud cover will gradually but noticeably increase tomorrow. This change marks a turning point in the current weather conditions, heralding the arrival of a cooler and more unstable air mass.
The most significant changes are expected in the afternoon, when rain is forecast to arrive accompanied by thunder. The regions of north-west Croatia are particularly affected, where conditions are prone to sudden changes. In these areas, including the wider area of Hrvatsko Zagorje, the weather is variable with cloud cover, and there is a real risk of locally intense showers accompanied by thunder. Residents in these areas should exercise caution and monitor current weather conditions, as conditions can deteriorate quickly.
