The Lička seljačka tržnica (LiST) will take place on 6 August 2026 at Baška Placa in Karlobag. This is the second and final event of its kind in the calendar year, offering visitors a blend of tradition and local gastronomy.
The event begins at 19:00, with the LAG Lička, the Karlobag municipal tourist board, and the local municipality of Karlobag as the main organisers. The aim is to bring together local producers who will showcase a wide range of local products. Visitors will have the opportunity to not only see but also taste and purchase a variety of delicacies and handicrafts.
A rich array of local produce is expected at the stalls. Guests can expect honey, cheese, rakija, olive oil, fruit juices, and jams. In addition to food, the market will offer lavender-based cosmetics. For those seeking a souvenir from their trip, a variety of souvenirs and jewellery are also available.
Set against the backdrop of a rich culinary and trading scene, the atmosphere is enhanced by live music. The performance by TS Velebit will provide cultural entertainment throughout the duration of the market. This format allows for a direct connection between local creators and the wider public.
