On Saturday, 5 September 2026, Mala Subotica will host the traditional cultural and sports event known as Village Days. The organisers, in cooperation with NK Spartak, the Wind Orchestra of the Municipality and the Local Committee, have prepared a rich programme to be held at two locations: the NK Spartak artificial turf pitch and the Municipality’s Main Square. The event is conceived as a community gathering through competitive sports disciplines and entertainment for all generations.
The programme begins at 14:00 with a futsal tournament in 5+1 format. Players with any connection to Mala Subotica are eligible to participate, and each team may have a maximum of three registered players. A donation of 50 euros is required to enter the tournament. Prizes will be awarded to the three best teams, encouraging a competitive spirit among local football enthusiasts.
At 16:00, rural games follow, featuring a series of interesting disciplines. A symbolic donation of five euros per team is charged for participation in these activities. A special feature of the rural games is that the winning team receives the total amount collected from all participants as a prize, further motivating the competition. In addition to competitors, the programme is tailored for the youngest visitors, who can enjoy the children’s inflatable bouncy castle.
A free meal of langos and goulash is provided for all guests, while chilled drinks will be available at reasonable prices. The entertainment segment will be enhanced by a performance from Show Time Band, creating a pleasant atmosphere throughout the event.
