The winners and best performers of the Bilhorod Circus Festival from Ukraine will guest perform on 1 October in Opatija, where they will present 35 young acrobats aged 8 to 18 to the audience. The performance is scheduled at the Gervais Centre with a start time of 18:30.

The talented young artists are training through a professional programme of performing circus arts. On stage, they will perform various disciplines, including acrobatics, balance, aerial acts, and contortion. Revenue from ticket sales will be donated to charity.

Bilhor Circus Fest takes place in Biloh, a town near Kyiv, and has for six years brought together young Ukrainian circus artists. The festival has continued to take place even during the war. Last year, it gathered 120 children from different parts of Ukraine, and this year the number of participants has increased further.

The arrival of the young acrobats in Croatia has been organised with the support of the DoD charity. The association has for years been organising and sending aid to Ukraine, with convoys delivering food, medicine, clothing, and various equipment, with aid transported to areas where it is most needed. The association has also supported the festival in Biloh and is organising the young artists' arrival in Croatia.

The performance will take place on Thursday, 1 October, at 18:30 at the Gervais Centre. Tickets priced at 20 euros are available via the Entrio system and its authorised sales points. Tickets are currently not available for purchase at the Opatia Festival box office.
