The 15th anniversary edition of the Vlaktina festival is taking place in Benkovac, organised by the Benkovac branch of the Vlajter-ego Association. The event has become a familiar gathering point for fans of punk, metal, rock, and the wider underground sound.
The main attraction of this year's line-up is the performance by the Scottish punk veterans, Oi Polloi. The band is considered one of the key names in the European DIY scene, and their participation confirms the high standard of the festival's programme.
The domestic scene is represented by a number of bands, including Loš Primjer, who are presenting their new album to the audience. The split band Narkotik will also perform for the Benkovac public, while the performance of the band Brkovi is described as synonymous with complete chaos, energy, and song.
Among the international guests is the Italian band Zëne. This is a metal-punk rock band from Italy, which broadens the geographical and musical scope of the festival.
Special emphasis is placed on the musical profile of the band HÄXÄNKING, who are performing material from their album 'Vdraždina'. This addition further enriches the diversity of the genres performed.
The visual identity of this year's edition is the work of Ena Jurov and Koshmar Studios, ensuring a recognisable visual experience that complements the musical programme.
