The new Kvarner Bridge service began operations on 24 June. It connects Kraljević with Crikvenica, Senj, Baška, Lopar, and Pag’s Lun, with the route operating through the summer season until 30 August.
The seasonal ferry is designed to link the Kvarner coast and islands. It eases and speeds up travel for passengers, and is expected to relieve road traffic in the summer. Officials in Kraljević note that the status of the port as a starting point provides a direct maritime link to the well-known destinations of the Kvarner. This opens up new opportunities for day trips, an influx of guests by sea, and strengthens tourism.
A working meeting was held in Kraljević ahead of the start of the season. Representatives of Jadrolinija, tourist boards, and the municipalities and towns connected by the route were present. The operational details, including port organisation and joint promotion, were agreed upon.
The timetable and ticket prices have been published on the Jadroline website.
