The South Korean manufacturer has become the official automotive partner of the UEFA competition. This strategic partnership, which comes into effect in the 2026/27 season, marks a significant step in the relationship between the automotive industry and European football.

UEFA, as the manager of the main European club competition, brings together 36 clubs in its prestigious tournament, with Hyundai joining the circle of brands supporting this prestigious event.

Hyundai has long been present in the European market, where it operates more than 2,000 sales and after-sales outlets across 42 markets. This extensive network allows the brand to firmly stand its ground in the European car market. As part of its European strategy, Hyundai has developed a European technical centre in Rüsselsheim, Germany, where vehicles tailored to local market demands are developed and designed.

Vehicle production takes place in factories in the Czech Republic and Turkey, ensuring supply chain stability. In line with its portfolio, Hyundai recently launched the Ioniq 3, and plans to introduce a total of five new models during the 2026/27 season. This expansion of models aligns with growing trends in the automotive industry, particularly in the field of electric vehicles.

This partnership with UEFA represents another step in Hyundai’s strategy to strengthen its presence in the European market. Building on its existing partnerships, Hyundai continues to expand its influence in the automotive world, while supporting major sporting events. This strategy allows Hyundai to remain competitive in the European market, while building brand recognition among wider circles of consumers.
