Hollywood actor Goran Višnić, one of the most successful Croatian actors on the international stage, has returned to his homeland. This move marks the end of a long period of living abroad that has defined his personal and professional career.
The Višnić family has spent more than 30 years outside of Croatia. The majority of that time, 25 years, was spent in the US state of California, where the actor built his international reputation. Prior to that, the family lived in Cornwall, England, for six years, further enriching their experience of living in foreign cultures.
The family's new home is in Istria, a region they have chosen as their permanent place of residence.
