The new season in the Second HMNL East for MNK Slatina (Malonogometni klub Slatina) is drawing closer, but before the championship duties begin, the senior MNK Slatina team faces a challenge in the Croatian Futsal Cup (Hrvatski malonogometni kup). Slatinčani will travel to Murter on Friday, 30 October, in the last 16 of the final, where they will try to secure a place in the next round of the competition.
The draw has decided that MNK Slatina will measure their strength against Murter, a member of the Second HMNL South. The last-16 match of the Croatian Futsal Cup is scheduled for Friday, 30 October, with kick-off at 20:45, and will be played at the Sportska dvorana Murterski Škoji on Murter.
From MNK Slatina, they have expressed that they wish their boys good luck and a good match, and that they will give their all, try to surprise the Murter team and qualify for the round of 16 of the Cup. Slatinčani won the Second HMNL East title last season and competed in the qualifiers for the First HMNL. Murter finished third in the Second HMNL South last season.
MNK Slatina competed in the last 16 of the Croatian Cup last year, when they were guests of Podstrana. This is the club MNK Slatina's third visit to Dalmatia in four years of competing in the last 16 of the Croatian Futsal Cup.
