US President Donald Trump expressed satisfaction during recent meetings with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He published this information late on Tuesday via separate short posts on the social media platform Truth Social, emphasising that the talks proceeded in a positive tone.
Trump stated that he had discussed various topics with both leaders, although he did not provide specific details about the content of those discussions. In a post regarding the meeting with the Israeli Prime Minister, the US President wrote that they had had a very good meeting and had discussed many important issues.
Regarding the conversation with the Ukrainian President, Trump highlighted that they had discussed many matters and that the entire meeting had gone very well. These comments come in the context of Netanyahu and Zelensky’s joint stay in Washington, where both leaders were present at official events.
Both leaders attended a commemoration for Senator Lindsey Graham. Graham was a prominent Republican who, during his political career, earned a reputation as an influential advocate for the interests of both Israel and Ukraine, making his presence at such meetings symbolic.
His death marked the end of one of the loudest advocates for American support for these two nations, and the presence of Netanyahu and Zelensky at the commemoration underscored the importance of the relationships Graham cultivated with both sides throughout his long political career.
