The Government of the Republic of Croatia has issued new regulations governing fuel prices, which come into effect on 2 September. These prices will be valid until 8 September 2026, defining the period for which the current tariff applies to consumers and distributors in the domestic market.
A slight increase in price was recorded for petrol. The price of petrol is now 1.67 euros, representing an increase of one cent compared to the previous period. Although the change is minimal, it indicates a stabilisation of costs in the segment of petrol during this week.
On the other hand, the trend is reversed for diesel. The price of diesel for passenger vehicles is 1.79 euros per litre, with a drop of seven cents compared to last week's values. An even more pronounced drop was recorded for agricultural diesel, the price of which fell by 11 cents and now stands at 1.21 euros per litre.
Changes are also evident in the market for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). The price of LPG for tanks is 1.25 euros per kilogram, while the price of LPG in bottles is 1.83 euros per kilogram. In both segments, a drop in price of two cents was recorded compared to the previous period, which may ease costs for users who use gas for household or small vehicles.
In addition to fuel prices, premiums are an important factor in the final calculation. The premium for diesel has increased by one cent, while premiums for other types of fuel remain unchanged. This means that the premium for petrol remains at 0.1435 euros per litre, the premium for agricultural diesel is 0.0236 euros per litre, and the premium for the propane-butane mixture in bottles remains at 0.9037 euros per kilogram.
