The Government of the Republic of Croatia has adopted a new decree on the determination of maximum retail prices for oil derivatives. The decree enters into force on Tuesday, 6 October, and will apply for the next seven days.
According to the new prices, petrol and diesel will become cheaper by two cents per litre from Tuesday. Blue diesel will be cheaper by four cents, while LPG for tanks and bottles will become more expensive by three cents per kilogram. The price of Eurosuper is 1.74 euros per litre, Eurodiesel 1.84 euros per litre, and blue diesel 1.38 euros per litre. LPG in tanks will cost 1.55 euros per kilogram, and LPG in bottles 2.13 euros per kilogram.
The Government has simultaneously increased the premiums for diesel fuel and blue diesel by one cent per litre, while premiums for other types of fuel remain unchanged. The application of the reduced levy continues, with the levy on diesel fuel increased by one cent per litre.
Without the measures of the Government, prices would be significantly higher. The price of petrol would be 1.95 euros, diesel 2.13 euros, and the price of blue diesel 1.46 euros. Without regulation, the prices of LPG would be 1.66 euros per kilogram for tanks and 2.36 euros per kilogram for bottles.
The new decree continues the practice of the state limiting retail prices of oil derivatives, while simultaneously adjusting premiums and levies for specific types of fuel.
