The municipality of Kaštel-Labin has published a call for applications for non-repayable subsidies for private landlords for 2026. This is a continuation of the financial support programme introduced last year, with the aim of increasing the quality of accommodation, improving service standards, and strengthening the competitiveness of private accommodation in the municipality.

Private landlords are eligible for a subsidy of up to €50 per bed, with a maximum subsidy of €1,000 per beneficiary. The subsidy amount is increased by 20 per cent for women who are the sole owners of the accommodation, as well as for persons under the age of 30. The increased subsidy amounts to a maximum of €1,200 per beneficiary.

Those eligible for support are individuals providing hospitality services in their own homes, provided they have their permanent residence in the municipality of Kaštel-Labin. Applicants must rent out accommodation classified as three stars or less, and one of the conditions is that the average annual income per bed does not exceed €2,500.

The municipal mayor, Đuljan Petrović, stated that this measure was introduced last year. The deadline for submitting applications is 31 October, with subsidies awarded on a first-come, first-served basis until the available funds are exhausted.

Applications can be submitted in person at the municipal office located at Kaštel 113, 52464 Kaštel. As the deadline falls on a Saturday, personal submission is possible by Friday, 30 October, by 14:00.

The text of the call and the application form are available on the official website at www.kastel-labin.hr, as well as at the municipal office. Further information can be obtained from the single administrative department of the municipality of Kaštel-Labin, on working days from 08:00 to 14:00, in person or by email at [email protected].
