The Murter-Kornati Municipal Tourism Board has invited all interested citizens to review the attached Draft Proposal for the Destination Management Plan. The call applies to the area covered by the tourism board, and the document has been made available for public inspection so that citizens can contribute before it is adopted.
The Destination Management Plan is a planning document for destination development. It determines the direction of development for the area, with the goals of improving the visitor experience, protecting natural and cultural assets, and ensuring the well-being of the local community. It is, therefore, a document that links tourism activities with the preservation of space and the interests of residents.
The document is adopted for a four-year period, from 2025 to 2029. This means that the guidelines established in the Plan will steer destination development throughout the entire period, not just in a single season.
The tourism board invites citizens to submit their constructive proposals, comments and remarks. The deadline for submission is 15 November 2026. Proposals and comments can be sent by email to info@tzo-murter.hr.
The tourism board states that all interested parties are welcome to review the draft and participate in the consultation. Submitted proposals, comments and remarks will be considered in the process of preparing the final Destination Management Plan.
