The public consultation on the proposal for the seventh amendments and additions to the Spatial Plan of the Šibenik-Knin County (Šibensko-kninska županija) has concluded. According to available information, a total of approximately 600 comments from citizens and stakeholders were received regarding the proposal, indicating a high level of public interest in this spatial planning documentation.

This is the second time such a public consultation has been conducted as part of the preparation of spatial plans in the county. Compared to previous cycles, the number of received proposals and comments has remained stable. In a previous similar procedure concerning earlier amendments to the spatial plan, approximately 600 to 700 comments were also recorded, suggesting a consistent interest among citizens in participating in spatial planning.

Such a response from citizens is crucial for assessing the acceptance of planning proposals, as well as for understanding local specificities and needs that the population highlights regarding spatial development. The final processing of these proposals and their alignment with legal regulations will follow after the conclusion of this public consultation phase, ensuring transparency and citizen involvement in the decision-making process regarding the future appearance and development of the space.
