The city of Zaprešić was presented with the Croatian Chamber of Crafts Charter for its significant contribution to the development of crafts and craft institutions. The award was presented at a ceremony marking the Zagreb Chamber of Crafts by the president of the Croatian Chamber of Crafts, Dalibor Kratović, and the president of the Zagreb Chamber of Crafts, Ante Trojnar.

In addition to the charter, the city of Zaprešić received a letter of thanks from the Zagreb Chamber of Crafts for successful cooperation and contribution to the development of craft over the period from 2022 to 2026.

The Golden Circle of the Zagreb Chamber of Crafts was awarded to the Veleučilište in Zaprešić, which was awarded for special results in the protection and promotion of craft. The gold plaque was awarded to Marijan Pokupec, a long-standing craftsman from Pojatna, whose business 'Vulkanizerski obrt and trade, owned by Marijan Pokupec' has been operating since 1984.

The craftswoman award was presented to Vlasta Pašić, owner of Vlasta Art. The award was given for her exceptional contribution to the promotion and development of artistic craft, successful management of her business, and active participation in the cultural and educational life of the local community.

The president of the Zagreb Chamber of Crafts, Ante Trojnar, stated that the Chamber currently brings together almost 40,000 craftsmen.

The ceremony took place on the eve of the 26th Zagreb Trade Fair, which is expected to attract more than 180 exhibitors. The fair will take place from 16 to 18 October.
