In celebration of the anniversary of the Ban Josip Jović High School, the exhibition Horizons in Infinity by artist Zdravko Postrin was opened at the Anima Gallery. The exhibition, traditionally co-organised by the school and the Zaprešić Club, was presented to the public.
This marks the 23rd solo exhibition by Zdravko Postrin, a resident of the municipality of Luka. The artist presented his work through depictions of Zaprešić and the Ban Josip Jović Palace, while also exploring landscape, sacred, and historical themes.
Postrin received his artistic education at the School of Applied Arts and Design in Zagreb, where he completed his studies in graphic arts. His artistic versatility is evident in the diverse range of techniques he employs, ranging from pencil, chalk, charcoal, and pastel to acrylic and oil on canvas.
Postrin has an extensive exhibition history, with 23 solo and 32 group exhibitions to his name. In addition to painting, he is involved in design and has participated in a major project involving the decoration of Zagreb trams. He has also contributed to the restoration of numerous churches.
The exhibition Horizons in Infinity fits within the city's celebration programme. The organizers, the Ban Josip Jović High School and the Zaprešić Club, continue the tradition of showcasing visual arts at the Anima Gallery.
