The Croatian Young and Entrepreneurial event was held in Zaprešich under the slogan A Day When Ideas Become Reality. The event has for several years brought together young entrepreneurs, and this year's edition attracted more than 100 young people from across Croatia.
Among those gathered were also many young entrepreneurs from Zaprešich. The town became, as highlighted, the heart of regional entrepreneurship, positive energy and inspiring stories.
The aim of the event is to share the experiences and real stories of today's successful entrepreneurs. In the lecture part and through panel discussions, speakers and panelists participated, with experts from Croatia and Slovenia exchanging experiences within the panel on working with young people titled From Classroom to Entrepreneurship. Slovenia was the partner country this year.
The deputy mayor Željko Barun expressed support for the young people. He announced a tender for the allocation of non-repayable funds to be published in October, and those present were invited to an economic fair where products and services can be presented free of charge.
The city's wish, it was stated at the event, is to empower young people through this project and encourage them to take action on their ideas.
