On Thursday evening, the 32nd international festival of Milke Kelemen was opened at the parish church of St Joseph in Slatina. The opening brought together many guests and music lovers.
The Croatian Parliament’s representative, Vesna Bedeković, MP and chair of the Committee on Education, Science and Culture, opened the festival. The Croatian Parliament is the patron of the festival this year.
The opening was attended by the deputy of the Virovitica-Prerad County, Marijo Klement, the mayor of Slatina, Tomo Tomić, the president of the Slatina City Council, Luka Repić, and many other guests. Their arrival further highlighted the importance of this event for the town and the region.
The ‘Days of Milke Kelemen’ festival has brought together musicians and the public for 32 years, and this year’s edition continues the tradition of presenting high-quality musical programmes. The opening at the parish church of St Joseph marked the beginning of a series of concerts and events to be held as part of the festival.
